Message from President Melby on violence in Capitol
We are instruments of Providence Dear ÄûÃʵ¼º½ Community, I am writing to you after a day of violence in our nation's Capitol. In the face of all the upheaval, it is natural to feel overwhelmed, discouraged; and yes, even fearful. During yesterday's university prayer service in Sacred Heart Chapel, the hymn "Be Not Afraid" reminded me that there are forces much greater than the trials of humankind at work.

ÄûÃʵ¼º½ held hybrid graduation ceremony on Dec. 12
Sister Pearl Ceasar, CDP, was the commencement speaker when ÄûÃʵ¼º½ held hybrid fall 2020 commencement ceremonies on campus on Dec. 12. The commencement addresses were live streamed from Sacred Heart Chapel. Degree conferral was in front of Main Building.

Graduate student earns sixth White House volunteer service award
ÄûÃʵ¼º½ Master of Business Administration (MBA) student Michael Garcia (BBA 2018) has received the White House President's Volunteer Service Award for the sixth consecutive year, an ÄûÃʵ¼º½ record.

ÄûÃʵ¼º½ offering Pandemic Response aid to new spring 2021 transfer students
In response to the pandemic, Our Lady of the Lake University (ÄûÃʵ¼º½) is offering new spring 2021 transfer students ÄûÃʵ¼º½ Pandemic Response aid that covers up to half the cost of tuition and fees at the university.
